There have been threads on this in the past There are so many things wrong with this map it's unbelievable 1. The diamond sword causes so many more arguments and allows for RDM with little to no repercussions See http://www.seriousttt.com/threads/diamond-sword-on-jondome-map.19800/ This sword ruins rounds for players, because just by touching it, they die. T, Inno, D, whatever. 2. The T room isn't even KOSable These should be enough reasons to get this map out of rotation Remove it. Just do it.
The staff are aware of that glitch and how it is done. Point 4: Because the diamond sword does damage as "The World" if a staff member does not witness who touched the sword last then they cannot issue slays for the deaths caused by it. Point 5: The tester also kills with "The World" so unless a staff member witnesses it they cannot slay for sentencing and innocent player to death. Point 6: The tester can be bugged to where the tester door is open and the back that leads to the death portal is open by spamming both the door and lever at the same time, so the next person to walk close enough gets sucked into the portal. #DownWithJondome!
It's a good start, but if the other points brought up aren't gonna be taken care of as well, I'd prefer it not even be an option in map select
I prefer a fix than removal, the map itself is awesome, but they really need to patch things up like 1) to get a diamond off the storage chest, the traitor must spent 1 credit on it, (So that the innocent can't get a piece of diamond to complete the sword collection) 2) Yes map area needs to be fixed. 3) T room needs to be fixed so that nobody will be able to open the door on collision. Or you can follow carned idea to make the sword no longer deals deamage, but that'll ruin the fun.
Never ending has it right. Also the sword is eternal, it is a great tool when used properly by the Ts
I don't care what happens to the sword. The map itself was poorly made if the T room isn't a T room anymore and people can glitch out of the map. If there's a map maker available that can fix this, then I'll be glad to embrace the kill/not kill diamond sword in this new Jondome. Other than that, if the sword is the only thing fixed we've got a long way to do. Furthermore, if the tester or sword can have their own kill text instead of "The world" it'd reduce RDM possibly. As for Noc's last point, the tester has a neat feature that detects T weapons, but that damn bug that gets the death door stuck is fucking awful. If this shit can be fixed, I'd love to play on Jondome again. If not, remove it. Frozen as shitty as it is at least functions properly.
Bump. Basically; people can camp the room with the sword, and Hiddens can jump out of the map, making the round last 10 minutes Sorry for bad quality and horrible typing skills.
1) Nobody asked the hidden to jump off the map, yes it's a problem, but it can be controlled 2) Check your inventory for more stuff.
You don't see how this is unfair? On other maps, the Hidden has a chance On this one, they don't have any If you really can't see there is an obvious and clear advantage to the sword of this fun round, as well as gameplay in general, don't bother arguing it Plus, I'm pretty sure innos can still kill other innos with the sword even on fun rounds, like the Hidden
The sword isn't fun. It just allows for RDM and ruins peoples rounds, along with being completely unnecessary Changing it so it would be slightly more hard to obtain the sword wouldn't fix this problem Feel free to explain the reasons you disagreed with my 3 other posts c:
