After a quick search on the forums, I am surprised I didn't see anything like this. I've played on a few servers that offered a music player in the server menu(F3 menu). Music is added to the list by requests which have to be accepted by an admin or mod. To play the music a player spends lets say 25-50 points (no more than 75) to select a song from the list. The songs on the other servers have played though YouTube and they are heard by the entire server. There is also an option in the menu to turn off the music which disable the music completely for the player. I kind of think this would be a fun way to something cool for people to spend thier points on.
Two things, first if someone foesnt like the song it would be annoying, second it might be hard to hear other players that are talking, unless there are silent rounds when no one talks(everyone is gagged) and music plays.
The audio player that was being used, used the actual YouTube video and you could adjust your own volume without affecting others. Plus when you put a price on the songs, not everyone will be playing them constantly.
