Just a quick question about the staffing process. I've noticed on other TTT servers that staff applications are public and the entire community can vote and give feedback on them. I'm just wondering, why isn't that the case here. I'm not saying that one is superior to the other, I just want to know why this is the operation here where it isn't on other servers.
theres been a few answers but instead of approving them all i will consolidate them into 1 post : we did actually used to have public staff apps a long time ago. the privacy plays another role in itself but i wont go into that but also public staff apps only cause drama/harassment and really dont provide much insight into the potential staff member, everyone is gonna have their enemies and their friends some more so than others, but these friends and enemies will only speak of their personal opinion on the applicant not their potential as a moderator and their rule knowledge ETC at the end of the day the staff, more specifically the admins are in charge of who is and isnt on the team, the point of a trial phase is not only to teach but also to see how the candidate is with the rest of the community
