This situation has happened to me a lot. You get into a gunfire with a traitor, and attempt to use your keybind to call them out. Unfortunately, a fellow innocent walked in front of you as you hit your keybind and you call them out as a traitor instead. Before you can type anything to correct your mistake, a Traitor kills you.

Are you then responsible for someone killing that innocent you mistakenly false KoS'd? Will you be slain if an innocent kills that person you accidentally called out, or is this just another form of crossfire?

This can be another form of "crossfire." Because whether you are shooting for the kill, or calling a KOS for the kill. If an innocent steps into your situation, and you calling them out unintentionally. It's considered crossfire. So you would not take any punishments.

Technically that would be considered crossfire. I wouldn't worry about it, if you were reported all you have to do is explain yourself as a response.

To elaborate, please do not just post "crossfire" in your report.

Please be elaborate. It saves both staff and you problems.
