Out of Touch

For those of you who care,
It's been a month and a half since evening college started for me (it's like regular college except from 17:30-21:50), and after 2 years of practice work getting back to the academic system is really challenging to me, to the point I underestimated the difficulty of this course, first 2 weeks went by relatively easy with small homeworks and assignments just getting us warmed up but for the past 3 weeks things have been steadily building up and I've done nothing but procrastinate and delay the inevitable.

Now I have a messed up sleep schedule from the past week of trying to catch up with the overdue homework whilst at the same time still playing and wasting time to the point I'd be so tired I'd sit staring at the computer screen for hours on end not doing anything and taking up to half an hour for questions that normally would take 3 minutes, then the next evening I'd have to stuff myself with energy drinks and sugary garbage in order to even stay awake during lectures.

Two days ago my tutor had a stern talking with me and told me it's not too late yet and that I just need to focus on getting the homework done when its sent and organise myself better.

So I've come to the conclusion I need to take a break from this community( which I spend way too much time on) and videogames all together and instead focus on studies and my self-discipline.

This is not permanent I'm 100% sure I'll be back once things have settled down and I have control over my school and social life again.

I'm sorry if I repeated myself a lot , I'm terribly sleepy, have a headache and have class in half an hour.

I'd reccomend uninstalling steam, or games you play very regularly, to avoid relasping

 

Take python's advice, I was in the same position as you sometime last year.
