Why you should be unbanned:

Firstly, because I was unaware that making the diamond sword and placing it in a relatively conspicuous area was considered as rdm.

Secondly, because I was given no prior warning before I was abruptly banned.

Thirdly...
"Killing/damaging players with props." <- The sword was not in my possession when people walked into them.

"Placing props at the bottom of ladders/portals, such as those on community pool and 67th way." <- The sword was placed in relatively conspicuous areas where people could easily see it on the ground.​

Hello @origins , I would like to thank you for deciding to take the time and make the ban appeal and hope you are having a peachy day, I would also like to verify the reason I have banned you. (Mass RDMx4) The reason you were banned was because the fact you decided to put the Enchanted sword at the top of the stairs and you killed 4 innocents with it. Now even if you put it down and wasn't possessing it at the time, even people who saw it or didn't that died from it is still considered RDM. Seeing that four people died from it and didn't see it, the RDM is still on your head. You can see it which is in our advanced/extended rules which is here. Now I may not have the evidence via recording or screenshots but @Fading does. So I will get that as soon as possible when I can, have a nice day. <3

 

I was there when this happened and you put the diamond sword in front of a door and it was not easily seen after a person died from it

i would also like to add if you watch the demo he shows no remorse for the people getting killed by the sword nor does he warn or move it after the first person died. he just watched it and waited for the next person to come alog and touch it.

 

From my understanding, the diamond sword is only punished if a player is holding the prop and moving it. I can remember another mod who did not slay themself when they were standing still while holding the diamond sword and a detective ram into it. I honestly believe when need the lead admins' say on here. I don't think that once it is dropped on the ground it should be anyone's responsibility. I personally have dropped it on the stairs because while going to discard it I got frightened of killing people with it. And despite many warnings not to up or down the stairs several people walked right on it.

I personally have held it still in front of me and someone walked into it. I then slayed myself because I technically caused his death. That's my two cents on it.

 

Holding an entity that causes instant death with a magneto stick is a traitorous act. You are responsible for all deaths that are caused by holding/pushing said prop. If you were to cause multiple people's deaths, even if they walked into them or walked over them by you dropping it, it is your responsibility. My point of view.

 

Alright, looking at the evidence and the situation of this ban appeal, seeing that there is only evidence of RDMx2, and at least 2 more witnesses that can only confirm via seeing this, (Sadly I don't have more evidence to give for Mass RDMx4) I will have to leave the final decision to my Lead Administrator @Darktooth to make his verdict over this.

 

After watching the demo, I can concur that there was clearly less than 4 RDMs. I apologize for this happening and you will be unbanned right away as there isn't enough sufficient evidence to uphold this ban. Appeal Approved.

However if you are caught doing something like this again you will be dealt with accordingly.
