Why should you be unbanned: Banned for ghosting; I recently started playing GMod and Steam in general again, so I'm a little rusty. I learned not but 45 minutes ago how to bind keys to do the command for "I'm with ____" "_____ acts suspicious" and "_____ is a traitor!"

I started the round as a traitor, and my keys 1, 2, and 3 are bound (respectively) to the above commands. As I place my hands on my keyboard, I hit the top-right portion of the W key, which is not but a centimeter, at best, away from the number 3 key. With 3 being my "_____ is a traitor!" bind, it gives the command. I happened to spawn near a fellow traitor, whom of which was walking past me as my cross hair was on him.

So, I accidentally called out that he was a traitor.

I didn't think much of it, as the chat box was filled up quickly, but approximately 5 minutes later I recieved ad ban from Killamarshal that said i was banned for 29 days.

Technically, this does fall under the category of ghosting, but I hope you can understand that this is not an intentional infraction, but merely an accidental key press. A common mistake, I'd say.

To prevent this from happening in the future, I have remapped the keybinds to new keys; I assure you this will not happen again.

If this is in fact what happened it would not fall under the ghosting category. It would be held at the same regard as an RDM and would be punished with a slay. However, Killamarshal will respond at his nearest convenience to clarify this issue.

 

i would have issued this as a slay however you called it out, did not retract the kos and continued to shoot at your t buddies, honestly if an admin tells me to unban you i will but in my eyes, you called out your t-buddy to get proven and were ghosting

 

i did not order a KOS whatsoever, nor did i shoot at my fellow T's... there was some hooplah regarding a KOS going on and i was defending the person that said it.
and as far as ghosting, under the general rule of it, i really wasn't. What I stated above is the exact situation that happened.

I didn't realize what I did was wrong, as it was an accident. If you would have pointed it out, I would have done what I could do to fix it.
But unfortunately I have no reason to lie or skew the story and you are wrong.

 

Please unban him. Calling out t buddies is RDM; not ghosting. Please lock this topic once this is completed.
