This is not a player report, just simply something that happened. I was sitting here just now playing a round of TTT and I am being shot at, as i duck inside a building i turned around to look and the player Logan was behind me, in my face, so i shot him in the face. as I was defending myself. He was infact a T but I was slain anyway. My argument is this. if someone is shooting at me, and i turn around and the possible shooter is in my face IM GOING to shoot. Thats what serious means to me. this is a serious ttt server therefore, i would have died had i not shot him. My slay in my opinion is invalid.
While you may have killed a Traitor in this situation for being in your face after being shot at, you had not known if he had shot at you or if another player had. There's a lot of possibilities in this situation, but play cautiously. And unless you're 100% that they shot you/shot at you, don't shoot someone for being up in your face after discharges occur. Another thing that may help in your endeavors is thread here. Spoiler: Click me! http://www.seriousttt.com/threads/a-guide-to-sttt-extended-rules-info-tips-tricks.12605/ Some common sense is good (like process of elimination), but you need proof. If you have questions about the rules, take a look at Q&A. Hope you have fun with STTT!
I will say that the name of the server may be serious, and we should act serious, but the name isn't made around the idea of being serious. It was named after the original owner "Mr. Serious" or something like that. I could be wrong about the exact name though .
You need serious evidence to kill the player who shot you. If you had time to run away and hide, then turn around to see someone behind you, then it's probably not him that shot you. Just a little pro tip.
Once you learn the maps and how to judge the distance gun shots are from you common sense becomes incredibly useful. Also max radar is stupidly overpowered as a detective but shhh
The more you play, the more you get a feel for what's going on around you. If there was a rule that allowed shooting anyone you thought shot you, there would be way too much carnage and RDM that mods really couldn't do anything about. Also, wearing a good headset will prevent that from happening too often because you can hear where shots are coming from
You are wrong lol. Mr. Serious got his name from the server. This server was created with a serious mindset. It was made because players didn't like it when people killed on suspicion; kind of how you killed the player you mentioned in your statement.
I used to think that the server name was made to revolve around a serious note and I kept on getting told it was named after Mr. Serious. I've been told by several people that it was the other way around. I'm not the oldest player on the server, so I don't really know. And I'm not saying we shouldn't be serious, btw .
@Highwon is the original owner of the community, he just let "Mr. Serious" run it while he developed it, so he could focus completely on development. It wasn't named after Mr. Serious, in fact MangoTango may be correct in that Mr. Serious assumed the name because of what Highwon wanted to name the server.
Question: Is it really slay worthy if you accidentally shoot someone half a second after someone else shoots you out of reflex?
Accidental RDM is still RDM for any reason RDM is considered RDM, and for the very fact you are responsible for your own actions.
As any regular should, what are you trying to disprove here? You are in the end responsible for any and all actions you commit with your account onto anyone for whatever legitimate or illegitimate reason.
