Look into them. Some of them seemed kinda screwy on my trials, but otherwise they seemed great!
+1 to mythic if all the issues were fixed. -1 to fez as it looks tiny from the screenshots. +1 to mc_desert but I believe there was some issue with the T room giving infinite credits? Maybe I'm just confused but if its so there's always the option of highwon removing it. +1 to Minecraft-Island +1 to minecraft_cargoship -1 to Floating Fort as I've played it before and it's incredibly small. +0.5 to Castillo de Fenrir -1 to minecraft_mcairship +0.5 to mc_poseidon +0.5 to mc_pirates +1 to Skycraft as I've played on other servers with it and it seems to work pretty well. -1 to mc_tiptsky as I've played it before and it feels way too cramped. Overall you present some pretty good maps that I think are worth taking a look at to expand our selection with. However I suggest you change the "Another map" to the actual name of the map to make this way easier to look at instead of having to click through and guess which one I looked at last. Cheers.
Nope Nope Has Issues Nope is awful Nope Castillo has Issues we've tried it before Airship is meh Meh its a chicken map so it's probably issues Same as above Skycraft has issues, i tested it. Meh Sorry, nothing too great here.
Probably has issues doesnt mean it does. And quite honestly, "meh" Is better than playing what we always do. There are so many "meh" maps on West and East, but we still have them to choose from. I don't see why we can't have "meh" maps for Vanilla.
Skycraft looks like fun +1. But you gotta watch out for the edge so you don't fall to your endless death
I hope you realize maps especially Haven and Frozen are indeed lacking of weapons and ammo, hence not a lot of regular players would pick these maps as their choices. Sincerely hoping the issue that has been haunting us for months to be rectified.
To be awfully frank, firstly fuck Frozen it's an overall bad map. Haven however is littered with guns AND ammo. If guns were readily available on the boat, then you wouldn't necessarily EXPLORE every inch of the island for a gun which means you won't EXPLORE the map. It's almost like looking at a fine piece of art and deciphering its meaning. If the art piece just straight up told you the meaning like you receiving a gun on the boat, then where's the fun in looking into the intricate details of the art piece which would be just like picking apart the island for a gun. There are several known shotgun locations (if this is what many people complain about) which means shotgun isn't necessarily OP as 50% of the server doesn't have a shotty and as for other guns they're very commonly spawned. Lastly, the majority of the ammo is at the boat so anyone who "can't find a gun" or "says there's no ammo" is essentially too lazy. If there's not enough ammo on the boat, there's enough ammo around the island for you to get for each gun. Therefore, I'll happily look forward to Skycraft if it is implemented.
Basically you get killed before you even found a weapon to defend yourself, especially when you're dealing with VIP members who already has weapons in hand. There should be at least a few weapons lying in the same spot and at the same time, ammo should be supplied adequately right beside them.
well it's not the vip's fault that they have such a privilege. Besides ive rarely seen vips go ham on the boat unless they were a mod 'suiciding' thru t acts so they can do reports. Anyway, ive always been able to get as far as the well where a shotgun is a few seconds after pre round ends which is a great distance and i do agree in that area after such a timespand there's not a gun for everyone but even then haste makes waste bc those in the mindset of 'no guns gotta go fast' will more times than not panic and worsen their thinking of the map as they collapse from this unnecessary stress and start verbally hating the map. Furthermore, if there's not readily available ammo traitors will not immediately start killing and it allows people to find guns and ammo themselves
Thanks for taking the time to find maps for the vanilla servers. Obviously some have issues but there seem to be a few that work and anything new so we don't play the same 5 maps for years sounds great to me.
