Middle East Server?

Should there be a middle eastern server since we have a decent player base of middle eastern people

 

yes please id love to play with all the different jewish nations in the middle east

 

So far I've seen only 3 guys from the middle east and that includes me so I don't know what are the chances of this happening, but I hope it will since I'm getting 100 ping on eu2 servers

I know that there's atleast a few gmod servers in israel so the area isn't completely dead

 

There are a few reasons, besides playerbase, why there aren't many gameservers based on the middle east. The most important one...Lagg.
If u want a smooth running server in the US, u have to make sure the hardware server is located in the USA. In europe, u have to make sure the hardware is located in Europe.
Those are far easier locations to host servers from, simply cause the countries there are far more developed than the middle east (with Europe leading).
Even if u find a serverproviding party in the middle east, u still have to take in costs, uptime, maintenance etc etc. I mean, u can host a server from Europe, saying its the middle-east server but ppl will have trouble from lagg.

I vouch for ur area to get their own server, but...SGM has to think like a profitable company in order to keep giving us the toxicness of Gmod we deserve.

there isn't an sttt server in asia, and highwon hasn't even brought back yearly ranks to the public

Even though I live in Europe (Turkey), I would get alot better ping playing on a ME server, I mean land distance wise, im closer to Beirut than Istanbul.

On a more a serious note, I am not so sure there are that many players in the middle east to populate a server, and language would be a major issue I feel.

 

English is a major launguage in my country that they teach its your secondary launguage that your taught while ur being taught arabic

 

that would be an explosive situation to handle

 

Ur likely closer to those areas than lets say the netherlands (likely server there due to netherlands being nr1 at digitalisation)
