Many of you may remember the LP server. Well I personally miss some of the maps that were exclusive to it and got to thinking, we should rotate the maps on our non-vanilla servers to bring some of them back. Like take some of the lesser used maps and switch them our on a biweekly or monthly basis just to spice things up a bit. Im not sure how much work it would be but id really like to be able to play some of those maps again.
The common problem that I feel would occur with this is the small scale of the maps since they were designed for lower population. If the previous LP maps were put on the regular servers, players would be more likely to be killed early on or even cramped for space since there is a bigger population on our other servers (Max 36 players-40 players if all staff slots are filled) compared to what LP (Max 20 players combined with staff slots) was.
Yes i can see your point. Maps like Cloud Factory would be entirely too small but the Lego map was fairly large and i really enjoyed playing on it. There were a couple that could be put into rotation in place of some lesser used maps like Office and such.
