Make it slayable to camp and delay for a significant time despite warnings

  1. I know that you can slay a camping traitor for that round they're camping, but I propose that you slay them for the next round as well (similar to how you slay for RDM).

This would offer an incentive NOT to camp and delay as a traitor. This would only be for incredibly obvious situations like someone camping a T room or one-way-access area for 5+ minutes.

Putting an end to someone's current round is more than enough of a punishment for delaying. Anything after that just wouldn't be necessary.

-1 because this idea is unreasonable overkill for just delaying l. :l

  4. I can see this logic working, but the issue comes when someone delays for 7-8 minutes+ and there don't appear to be any clear guidelines for when to slay them.

I'm not sure if mods are trained for slaying when delaying, but from what I've seen it's wildly random and all over the place. I was just in a round where a lone T delayed for over 6 minutes, camping in the T room despite 3-4 warnings to stop.

When do you slay in that situation? Is there a specific number of warnings?

It's largely up to the Moderator when to start giving warnings. Generally speaking, three warnings are given at 20- to 30-second intervals after a long period (1.5 - 3 minutes is what I usually do, depending on the map and current situation) without any direct activity from the Ts. After the third warning, any remaining Ts are slain if they still haven't done anything.

  6. Sounds like a reasonable period of time.

Could this thread be locked now? I've learned that there's actually a procedure for dealing with delayers already. Before I thought it was entirely patchwork with no actual procedure, but one does appear to exist.

I think we should ban delayers for 5 days
