This is a suggestion I threw out back when I was active in Oct. 2016, and I think it could potentially be a good idea. Even if not a constant factor, it could be added into a funround of sorts. Maybe lowgrav harpoon/headshot wars/one in the chamber. The idea and justification behind it - Low gravity! Not super insanely high or anything! Not enough to even cause exploit issues (especially considering the fact that propsurfing is allowed, and I rarely if ever see issues on propsurfing to exploit spots). It would just provide a boost to the normal jump height, and lower the fall damage just a bit. It's kind of annoying to take a ton of damage from such short falls honestly. I moderated on a server called FriendsGaming back in 2016, and part of the reason it was so popular (in my opinion) was the uniqueness of it from features such as lowgrav. It wouldn't really change a whole lot in the server, as far as gameplay goes. It doesn't add much at all actually, I think it's just a fun idea. Also, if not constant lowgrav, lowgrav fun rounds has potential in my opinion
considering a primarily usedtobe popular community shutdown it's lowgrav TTT server, I think SGM could benefit by trying it out. There is a significant playerbase that would love to see another lowgrav TTT server, I'd like to see it happen
My first server was a low gravity server, I looooved that goddamn shit. Source ladders are broken, taking damage from falling 5 feet is retarded. +1, Perhaps even add "Jump packs" to point shop for the added boost. This server reaaaally lacks in content, I think it'd be good. (And easy as shit to add just type in the command)
Jump Packs are pay to win, so I don't think they have a place in SGM. As for low gravity, heck yea! It'd make an awesome fun round!
Not if you make them like, 1000 points. Then everyone can have them, and it gives an incentive to new players to play for a little bit.
Nah fam, depending on what you do tho. Jump Packs are fun as long as you dont make it OP and unreasonable.
I think Jump packs should be able to make you glide, like, a 2:1 ratio of horizontal slip to vertical fall, and an increased jump but not like a jetpack where you hold it down and just, fly up.
exactly, it's a jump pack not a jet pack, tho a jet pack would be cool....make good use of Boba Fett. Thats what the jump pack was earlier in some other servers i played, twas great
Yesss this would be really nice as a fun round. Maybe even have just a normal lowgrav "fun round" so like you can do the normal game in low gravity and see how that is like lmao.
