Killamarshall Administrator Abuse

Explanation: I was the last innocent, and there was one traitor left. After a brief firefight, the disguised traitor retreated to the T room, where he remained for a good 30 seconds. The admins called for traitors to start traiting multiple times, and he wouldn't budge. I began climbing up the ladder, and was standing in the connector that leads to the outside. I was looking at the street and ladder periodically. The next thing I know, I see a message saying Killamarshall has teleported (Terrorist). I panic, not sure of what to think of it, when seconds later I die when I get shot from behind. My reason for reporting is not out of spite or anger, but because I feel Killamarshall overstepped his boundaries, when he HELPED a player who was breaking the rules by teleporting him; giving him an unfair advantage because prior, I was aware of his position. As per rule #5 "No camping/delaying when majority of players are dead". Killamarshall says he has the power to levarage rules, but in the MOTD, it says that "Punishments are subject to change under an admin's discretion." Punishments, not rules.

I copied and pasted the logs with irrelevant things redacted. There seemed to be a near unanimous support both in text, and voice chat claiming the Killamarshall had overstepped his boundaries.

Again, Killamarshalls argument is this.
"I saw (I only was aware seconds before I died) him teleported"
"I should have been more attentive"
"He could teleport a rule breaker"

The outcome of this dilemma here doesn't really concern me. I'd just like different admins and players to weigh in their opinions on this matter.

 

Punishments are subject to change under an admins discretion. I don't think that killamarshall teleporting the traitor would have changed the outcome of the round; given the fact that traitor rooms have multiple teleporters and you wouldn't have had any knowledge of where the traitor could have teleported in that case. If anything, the global message would have then shown you that the t was no longer in the t room; it's not like he spawned him right behind you.

I'm sure that if you wet the traitor in this situation you might have been upset if Killa decided to slay you instead of teleporting you.

I don't think that him teleporting the traitor would have changed the outcome, regardless. If anything, it could have let you know that the traitor was no longer in the traitor room.

 

I appreciate the input, but remember, if I was warned MULTIPLE times that I shouldn't camp, I wouldn't be too pissed if I was slain. As far as all recall correctly, there isn't a teleport location that leads to the pool, that's why I was looking to the right. This is a player vs player game, I don't feel it's fair, or just in the matter to make decisions for someone who can't make it themselves. If the traitor wasn't brave or smart enough to kill me on his own, he should have lost.

 

So, if he would have teleported any other place other than the top of the jail, you're saying you would have won the round? The player could have even used a teleporter to teleport elsewhere and you still couldn't have known where he was. If anything, this could have given you better awareness to the situation.

 

Just to correct you Khangirey, there IS a teleport location that leads you to the pool. Killamarshall wasn't abusing his privileges at all. He was letting you know that the traitor wasn't camping anymore. His action should've alerted you to be more cautious since the traitor was (and should be at that point in the game) more active.

 

i Teleported the T to a Spawn location where he could have used the T room to get to anyways, you complained that i should have slayed him but in this situation i gave him a fighting chance, it was a 1V1 situation so i didn't slay him right away.

 

Some staff don't like to slay users for camping. Killamarshall was in the right here.

 

i am goign to state the reason for a TP rather than a slay, it is all purely situational.

EX: If there is one T and 5 innos left and the Traitor is Playing around and drawing Crowbar drawings or after warnings gets an inno by themselves and does absolutely nothing about it, i would slay. i only slay for delaying if they don't do any such traitorous act such as throwing a incen grenade or activating a disguiser and getting in a snipping position.

This was a 1V1 situation and you were at the top of the ladder leading downstairs on 67th way, i TP'd him to the pool where he could get to anyways from the T room he was in, i gave him and you a completely fair chance to win.
