If there were a jukebox it would make people more relaxed and more into the server! It would also even make the server more money, and ill get more into that in a sec. So what this does is give the players a chance to choose music and request it and play it! How does it work, people will be able to type !jukebox and a song list will come up with the songs that have been posted by players (VIP or supporters etc only) how does the song get on the jukebox? The people that have supported the server will be allowed to put songs on the jukebox that will be able to be played by any and all players. Nut only supporters can actually upload the songs, while anyone can play a song! Thought this would be a cool feature for maybe a winter update much love -Profit
I'd rather not have people spamming the nyan cat song or Justin Bieber while the round is in progress. I think the only music that's necessary is the end-round music. Any music played during the round would only be a distraction and deter from the core gameplay experience. If you want music, I suggest you play your music during the round outside of the server. Also known as youtube or whatever service you use to play your music.
I remember a server had this and it was a mod power, but that obviously would just be such an annoyance to mods, maybe add it as some kind of supporter perk, only those people can que up songs. Also you can toggle it off with 'stopsound' in console (atleast I remember it being that way) A downside is that it sort of just gives off a 'trashy' feeling to people maybe, that just joined and bam music spam full blast. +1 if it's done smartly, which it hopefully would be
With something like YouTube readily available, it's hard to see how this would make the servers money. Music is not an exclusive thing and with whatever app you want running in the background, you can choose what song you want and when you want. This would also cause longer downloads, of I'm not mistaken. Instead of players jumping right into game, they have to wait for all of the new songs to download. And for those reason, I cannot support this suggestion.
Supporters can still put on troll songs. Donators are not immune to punishment. I'd much rather prefer some sort of plug.dj equivalent, like a song bot in discord.
