Answered Is this prop surfing?

If this is considered prop surfing, I might just leave the server...because that would be destroying any level of strategy or creativity, and that is the GREATEST offense to me as a true gamer.

It's more towards prop-climbing. Anyone can get up there so, no.

 

I'd say prop surfing, hes using a prop to get to an unaccsesable area, tail told me its prop surfing / climbing

 

Prop surfing is allowed...

Using props to get to an unreable area is not. (Using the sign in assault to get on top of the railroad is ok)

that's really a sketchy way of putting it. youre using a prop to get to an otherwise unreachable area. the same went for terminal when I would always go out of the map by prop stacking, and it was considered "prop surfing"

 

I'd say this is prop-climbing, not prop surfing. My view (which does not necessarily represent the view of the server) is that prop-climbing is okay as long as you don't use it to get outside of the map.

 

i would say its climbing, because there are other props you could jump on the map, so after he destroys the box, anyone esle can go get one themselves. and a well place discombob can get them off of there.

 

When I was a mod I came across this exact same situation and highwon confirmed it was prop surfing. People were stacking props on that MW2 map to climb out of map, and it was considered prop surfing, your still using props to get to an unreachable area of the map, maybe not so much here as you can still be shot pretty eaisly, but I'm not 100%.

 

I think it just needs to be a basic definition as manipulating a prop in any way that would grant a player access to an otherwise unreachable area

 

I mean even I could do this.... my personal opinion is that this is incredible easy to access and the area is still within the general area of play. Plus imagine the goomba stomping possibility's if someone was camping on there.

 

No this takes to much skillz only for da pro prop users... Not really I think this should be allowed it is so simple.
