I know Highwon has been busy but there has been 0 updates to my knowledge since we got new maps back near to release. Currently there is no active playerbase because there is no reason to stay? Personally i feel no reason to stay, the maps have been played a lot. No level up or achievements, nothing to earn with points. As someone who made the original thread, it sadness me to see it left for dead.
There's 5 player models and a mic timer... AND NO DONATE.. I guess that fixes mic spam. Combine, Scientist, G-Man, Standard HL2 Woman, and the last one I think is just a hl2 man. But the player models are default source/hl2 and they're not even good. I mean all of the good half life characters aren't even there. I agree, very few people want to stay. We were at the top. Maybe highwon needs a coding buddy to help him.
@Highwon @Disruptionz @Darktooth I would like to start off by saying I think your concern is very valid. However these three would be the only ones able to answer on the current state of the Deathrun server. I'm sure they aren't abandoning it, but rather all 3 of them have been extremely busy and it's hard to find time to focus on the Deathrun server. Although they could provide insight on when / if we could be seeing potential updates / incentives.
Highwon has been legitamately busy with his own personal life. All three of us are working each day for an update in the near future, but please have patience. We didn't leave it to die; that would be foolish.

Yes, Deathrun will still be maintained and we have plans for adding content however many things came up in my personal life that took up all my time. I have been trying to dedicate as much time as possible towards the new store (replacing donation system) but I can't launch anything until it has been finished. Initially I had been wanting to implement discounts/coupons as well but that will be added later on as I want to get the store out as soon as I am able to.
