Is it against the rules to use console commands to avoid being kicked into spectator? For example using +right to constantly spin around. And is the rule different for empty servers?

Okay so should I ask a mod to come on an empty server to force-spec the guy who is doing it so that if pop starts coming on the server they don't get stuck waiting for overtime every round because the afk is a T?

Yeah, you can do that. They only rule they are technically breaking is delaying. So you can report that player on the forums and stuff and we will get it handled.

Actually, this isn't true, I've +righted in console to go AFK when no staff are on and come back to have been moved to another server for being AFK

Really? Maybe that's why slaps had a new script. Instead of doing +right, slaps was doing camera movements, was moving left and right. Quite interesting. So I guess I was completely wrong about one thing.

I know the original question has been answered, but yes, the afk-move system kicks in if you haven't moved your camera in a while. This happens often when I'm in the RDM manager as well.

Just to make it absolutely clear, this is Delaying, and is punishable as such.
