Answered Is "a suspicious weapon" KOS-able

So I was just a T on Dolls, and was switching from dragunov to my AK. MightyMcMuffin walks in on me as I'm pulling out the AK, and shoots me.

Afterwards he says "I saw you pull out that knife Tsu". I said "I don't even have a knife." He then says "well I know the animations, and that was definitely a T weapon." I told him "you can only KOS if you see for sure a T weapon. Tell me what weapon I switched from then." He proceeds to guess harpoon and then MP7, neither of which were accurate. He insists though that the animation for switching for a T weapon is different, he can tell the difference, and that he could kill me even if he can't say what weapon it was.

I believe this was an RDM, but I'd like the input of a mod/admin please.

 

It is RDM. He killed you on the assumption you had a T weapon when he didn't see it. The knife stance is the same as how the grenade stance looks. The harpoon stance looks the same as the crowbar stance. Just because they see you in one of the stances as you are changing weapons doesn't mean you had a T weapon.

Yeah, if say, you reported and we checked the logs and saw you never had a knife to see if his story checked out, it's RDM. The knife and SVU animations are completely different.

the knife stance is not the same as the grenade stance. you crouch down a bit when you pull out a knife, but the grenade keeps you upright.

 

In fact, I just had to slay someone for thinking someone was putting away a harpoon when really it was a crowbar
