I was banned for rdm and leave and yet i did nothing.

So i see you locked it well it is not resolved the rules says nothing about having to stay after the slay but it is very non specific it only says If you rdm you have to stay the whole round or its considered rdm and leave. get what i mean? Ether way i want the ban lifted because of your error.

It says if you're slain, you have to stay for the entirety of the round. That means you have to stay till the end of the round, not the round when you RDM'd and was assigned a slay, the round you were slain.

Your ban will not be lifted, and coming to us demanding we unban you isn't going to help you. You clearly misinterpreted the statement and thus will have to wait out the ban. We do have two servers, feel free to play on the other server unless you've gotten yourself banned from it also.

 

It could at least be more specific. And i have always left right after i was slain.
And i am not demanding to be unbanned. Any way the owner has a say in this?

Slain is past tense, if you just got slain for RDM'ing someone, then you have to stay the whole round or it's considered RDM & leave.

 

Why do you even have to stay after you are slain? whats the point?

 

If you were to RDM a player, you essentially ruin their round. So in turn, you have to sit out a whole round from start to finish as punishment.

 

If you have to stay for the entirety of the round, it makes it more clear that we do not allow RDM on the server. You could have Alt+Tab'd for your slay round and came back afterward, but you didn't. We want you to fully understand why you are being punished. Here at Serious TTT we take thing seriously; pretty sure that's why it is in our name. I really don't think your ban should be lifted, as you did break a served rule. As stated before, feel free to play on our other server.

To be honest Rasta, you're the first player that has requested this change. The grammar used in the statement is correct and we shouldn't be held liable for someone else's illegitimate interpretation.

Also the rule is stated clearly. I don't know why you can't understand it.

 

I think I understand why he is not understanding this punishment. I shall provide an analogy.

Basically, if you do something wrong or against the rules, your parents or teachers will put you on a time out.
In our server, being slain and having to stay for the duration of that round is simply the time out.

Another analogy.
If you break the law and get put into prison. Do you just stay imprisoned in your cell(in our server you will be slayed in order to prevent more RDM or etc) or do you exit life for the duration of your imprisonment and just come back when it is over?
Obviously you can't exit life, but I just came up with these random analogies in order to help you understand.

Basically, you learn from your mistakes by watching other players having fun during your slay round.
You also feel sad about this because you are not having fun. If you truly care about playing on this server, you will try to follow our rules the next time.

Therefore, you must stay for the entirety of your slay round in order to receive full punishment.
