Is this really needed? You just uploaded a video of a kill? Big deal, it was at the start of a round. Also belongs in entertainment.
Is this really needed? Is there something wrong with sharing experiences from the server? It's neither hurting anyone or showing the servers, players, or staff members in a bad light. We should be supporting this kind of stuff , not deterring players from sharing moments on SGM servers.
Yes And why is this considered not spam but if i was to write a post saying "Star Killed me in the first 5 seconds LOL" it would be dumb and spam? Theres no difference. Yes lets support people posting all their deaths and claiming its a "moment"
Spam: irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent on the Internet to a large number of recipients. Pretty relevant considering this is a website for players to communicate and connect over SGM and their servers. He also didn't post a number of these videos, just the one. You could ask "what if he posted more" but the point is, he hasn't. Why not support players sharing who post these videos on YouTube or on the site? More traction for the website and the servers. EDIT: At this point we're hijacking a thread. Let's leave it as is and just have it moved to entertainment.
You cannot tell me that 1 death is a valid piece of content to make a whole thread about. Ok yeah sure ill support a video that clearly won't bring anyone to the server because A) Doesn't even say TTT in the title. B) Will get 90% of its views from this community already.
Even staff have posted threads similar to this where it's just a video pertaining to some silly title, such as http://www.seriousgmod.com/threads/can-we-please-permaban-ladders.23689/, so I'd hardly call this spam, and he is fine to post it.
I find it frustrating and really rude that you would make such negative comments on this. If you don't find this humorous, then that's your own issue, but others may find it humorous, and he has every right to post it.
