The rules on hacking are too lenient already in my opinion, but being able to get banned for hacking on West 1 and then being allowed to play on West 2 (or any other server) is ridiculous. According to GunAndBomb, hacking bans are not globalized unless the user already has a past hacking ban.

The result is that I'm currently wasting my own time having to record a hacker on West 2 who was banned just 7 hours ago on West 1 due to this leniency given.

In my experience almost every server permanently and globally bans hackers on the first offense, at the very least I believe they should be globalized to prevent this exact situation from happening.

Hacking bans are usually globaled when requested by a moderator (or immediately if an admin is online), if they're caught again it's a longer ban + global.

@Nevodka you might need to change your syntax here to say "Make mods request globals when they catch hackers"

If the issue is mods being incapable of global banning then just mandate that mods must alert their admin of hacking bans so that they may globalize it.

Globalizing hacking bans should not be discretionary the way it currently is, there is no benefit that I can think of in allowing known and freshly banned hackers to continue playing on the servers.

I totally agree I often catch hackers but then you see 2 different report of people trying to get the same hacker banned shit is very annoying.

Like the others said, an admin has to globalize the ban, however I do think it's a good idea to perma hackers on the first offense. It's such a heinous offense to a game that's meant to be played for fun, not competition, and it's SO easy to do it and not get caught, especially if they have hacks that tell them when they're being spectated. If they want to be unbanned, they should have to appeal and make their case as to why they're going to be a better player now. This way hacking offenders don't get access to the servers until they have acknowledged their wrongdoing and swear to not do it again. Then if they do it again, another permanent ban, no exceptions. SGMod doesn't need that toxicity on their servers.
