Hello members of the community, and welcome to Game Night! Name is self-exptanatory, however for those of you who don't know, this is a scheduled night where the community of STTT gets together and plays games. Sip on your beer, chat for a while and have fun as we dive in. Game Nights will be hosted by me and, hopefully, many other enthusiastic co-hosts. If you feel you'd make a good host, PM me and I'll message you the details Times These nights will take place Saturday at 7 PM PST - Clear your schedule! I understand this may not work for everyone, but it is the optimal time for most people. In the future, I will find ways to perhaps add other times on days to accommodate other members Who's invited and TeamSpeak Everyone, but it's up to you as to if you stay. Rules will be in place to ensure everyone is having a fantastic time TeamSpeak is heavily encouraged. You can download the latest client here. It can handle mic as well as chat, so don't think a mic is required. Communication is key. There will be a password to the channel that will be posted in shoutbox and PM'd to anyone who would like to enter. Leave this to hosts and co-hosts. Games we might play* - Board Game Online - http://www.boardgame-online.com (Popular) - Cards Against Humanity - http://www.pretendyoure.xyz/zy/ (Popular) - Town of Salem - http://blankmediagames.com (Popular) (Account needed) (Add me: Pythonvis) - [unnamed] - http://agar.io/ (Popular) - Unturned - http://store.steampowered.com/app/304930/ (Download) - Transformice - http://www.transformice.com (Account preferred) - Attack On Titan Tribute Game - http://fenglee.com/game/aog/ - Fistful of Frags - http://store.steampowered.com/app/265630/ (Download) - Everybody Edits - http://everybodyedits.com/ (Account preferred) - Dead Frontier - http://www.deadfrontier.com/ (Account needed) - Gamevial Games - http://www.gamevial.com/ - Moonbase Alpha - http://store.steampowered.com/app/39000/ (Download) - TF2 - http://store.steampowered.com/app/440/ (Download) *All games listed are free, so anyone can play If the majority doesn't know how to play a game, someone can volunteer to explain Feel free to suggest games that are free and everyone can play How to choose a game Beginning of Game Night I will ask the TS channel what, of the games listed above, they would like to play We will spend a bit of time on that game, depending on the round/interestingness of the game, then move on to another game vote and so on until most of the channel is out If you're upset with a game choice, don't worry, you can still talk and we will get around to playing something you want, eventually. No complaining please *Disclaimer* Making this in place of @Drunk Dog's thread due to the fact I can't edit and it would be simpler for me if I had direct access to the feature. I take no credit for Drunk Dog's idea, and don't want to take it over completely, I just feel I am more available than him, as he recently 'resigned' from host position and left others (including me) in charge. Thanks for understanding. Previous thread
That'll conclude the 2nd weekly Game Night I hope to see more of you next week, at the normal time and date Hope the ones who did join in had fun Also, we won't be playing BGO next week due to it taking up a lot of time. Unless we could play a quick game to 100 spaces (one we played was 300 and took 2 hours)
Only free games will be played so everyone has a chance to join For Steam games, you should download them before game night just in case we play it and you don't have to download it Although, changes are we aren't gonna be playing TF2. It's just there to be an option
Have you guys considered other gmod gamemodes? We all have it, could be fun to mess around in PropHunt/Deathrun/Minigames? Not that i could play due to the time but yeah.
Since obviously we all have Gmod, it'll be fun if we all played games like Prop Hunt or Death Run. I can see mostly everyone agreeing to the idea of playing those gamemodes. Should definitely be added to the list. If needed, I can help with anything that needs assisting. I will be there for gamenight on Saturday for sure.
I'll state it here that any game that is free and accessible to anyone will be directly added to the game list. Keep up the suggestions I...actually never thought of that. Forgot there was more to GMod than TTT. Finding empty servers is always a hassle, but we'll see. I'm confused as to what benefits? The reason we aren't playing BGO is because (1) we played it last week, (2) a few people aren't interested and (3) it takes a while for a game If we're going to play as a community, we're going to play as a community, which means I'd rather not split the group into one game or another However, I am open to the idea of a short BGO game. Suppose 100 spaces would be enough for about a 45 minute game, assuming the 300 space one took us 2 and a half hours Inbox me any more questions
