Answered False KOS

If a player calls a KOS on something that is not KOSable (ex. "Dick Buttermuffin smells like a Traitor, KOS him!") can it still be taken as a legit KOS? And if someone follows the KOS, who is responsible for the RDM? The KOSer or the person who followed the KOS?

 

The person who called the KOS is held accountable if there were not valid grounds to call the KOS.

 

Even if they announce to everyone the reason for the KOS and the reason is not valid?

 

Anyone can choose not to follow the KOS and tell the KOSer that the reason is invalid, but it still counts as a KOS.
