Edit Extended Rules; Radar

I was recently reported here, I was reported for issuing a slay for someone killing another for being the last radar blip, there was 1 T, 1 D and 1 inno. As you can see I had 3 justifications for believing my actions were right under the extended rules. After posting my response I was informed of this. Because it was clear to me that what I did was a false slay after reading that thread, this is not me trying to wiggle out of (or contest whatsoever) this report, I would just like this matter to be clarified for everyone.

My suggestion would be to add an explicit statement into the extended rules stating you can kill someone for being the last radar blip, because to me it seems that as they are written now they do not justify doing just that (all my reasons for thinking that can be found in my original response to the report, tl;dr it's because a T could always have a disguiser so there would never be 100% certainty, so suspicion). This would fit great under the main heading "Sufficient Evidence For Finding Traitors" in the section that reads.

In addition, it could simply say; -If there is only one radar marker left then you may KOS the other player

I feel this is needed as it would easily clear up situations like the one I had last night for both moderators and players alike. And, as I said earlier, as the extended rules are currently written, they do not appear to justify killing for this reason (at least to me they don't)

"If there is one blip left on your radar you can kill them and not have it be considered RDM"

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

well tbh i would talk to ur admin about that he can clear up confusion and stuff

but since you made a thread already you can check staff discussion we had a debate about this topic a little under a year ago it should still be there

in addition to that what came of / caused that debate can be found here https://www.seriousgmod.com/threads/can-you-kill-off-of-a-radar.20015/

Yeah I linked that thread in the second hyperlink in my post, I understand it is allowed to kill if someone is the last blip on your radar due to the conclusion of the thread. I feel as though that conflicts with killing on suspicion, as you can never be 100% sure a traitor is not using a disguiser and that there isn't another person alive. That's why I suggested this, if we explicitly state it than there is no room for debate or interpretation. Which there already isn't it's just that someone would have to find that thread to know that and it is highly unlikely that someone would go searching specifically for it unless they knew it was there already.

In addition since we already have a section to list the ways a detective can KOS using radar, it doesn't really make sense not to have this there.

  6. I think it should be added on at the end instead of replacing the rules. The other rule I think can apply with more than 1 people on radar.

Seemed like a simple enough addition.

"The T item Disguiser will prevent them from appearing on your radar, however if there is only one radar marker left on the map, then you may KOS the other player."

    Any nitpicks?

This should of course be fine for any 100% certain proven innocents whether it is tester or T kill, (because for the love of God it's RDM otherwise if a T kills a T, not a tactic), what have you. Therefore, if only 1 proven person, 2, however many you can humanly keep track of, appears on the radar aside from you being these proven innocent then everyone else can be killed. Could result in let's say aside from 1 T disguised, 3 disguised Ts can be killed if it's you and 2 proven innocents next to you on the radar. etc etc

@Sinz You could also just link them to this thread for things like Robo's point.
