No, its something I want to implement but at the same time not take away too much from the core of TTT. I want to design a simple achievement system that won't alienate new players. Achievements are something that other servers already have but why are they not popular? Because their systems are complex and new players might feel too intimidated by it to rejoin. Its a balance between simple and complex but at the same time useful that I need to find and design. I have also been busy so I haven't had as much time to really sit and figure out how the whole system should work.
how about a simple challenge system alot like CoD in which the player must attain higher levels of the certain weapon or aspect of the game in order to improve the weapon/aspect slightly . as in slightly i mean accuracy and recoil. maybe even skins of guns and stuff.
We shouldn't give unfair advantages to veteran players just because they've been here longer. If upgrades like that went across TTT then it would be fair; just like CoD and it's servers.
the proficiency level's is not a good idea HOWEVER maybe adding weapon skins would be really cool. i don't think we could but if we could that would be pretty awesome.
I should have replaced "working on" with "brainstorming" in that previous post. Then it would have been correct.
u know i keep seeing this said but im what i categorize as a "vetran" player and i have deathstation heal thats a BLATANT advantage versus the random t who just joins and can never heal back from 5 hp with 10 people left alive i can just go walk into a room and come back full hp
Yes, but things that buff weapon damage, accuracy, and magazine size may deter players that are newer. If you have a death station heal and you're going up against an innocent that's fully healed as well, then it's an even battle. If you both have full health and the same weapon, but you have clip size, damage, and accuracy upgrades then you have an unfair advantage.
