Why you should be unbanned:

I was banned for "RDM and Leave". I get why I was given a slay but then once I was slain and the round started with me dead I left the server. How is this RDM and Leave? The slay went through for effect? I don't quite understand why I was given the ban that I was.​

Good afternoon, DocDrake. Looks like you were banned by @Guilty for RDM and Leave, he will respond to your appeal shortly. In the meantime, your ban is local so you are free to use the other Serious TTT servers that are available.

And for future reference, you must stay for the full round if you are slain.

 

When you are serving a slay on the server, you have to stay until the round completely ends. Otherwise, it will be treated as an RDM & Leave, which is stated on the MOTD.



@DocDrake , you should have known about your situation getting you a potential ban as a result of your act of leaving after you got your slay.

I will be giving you a few hours to respond to this appeal, but for the time being, considering you left without a legitimate reason and knew about it, I will be denying your appeal.

 

I acknowledge that it's my fault for not fully reading the motd. I only ever briefly glance at them because I don't ever plan on breaking the rules. Every group of servers is different in how they handle RDM/Slays the previous one I played on allowed you to leave after being slain which is why I assumed this was the same. I was wrong. It was late and I did not want to just sit at my computer waiting for the round to end. I'd be more than happy to serve out the slay again.

 

As long as you are willing to serve the ban again now that you acknowledge your mistakes, I am willing to unban you if my conditions are met. For the time being, I will be changing this appeal status to pending. Add me on steam by clicking the steam icon under my name in the comment and we can discuss when you can serve your slay. If you accept, then you will be unbanned, however your ban won't be voided so if you get banned again, it would be a 2nd RDM & Leave. Get back to me as soon as you can and I'm hoping to hear from you soon.
