I know arm aiming is better and all but i use my wrist to aim bc of my lack of desk space + its just muscle memory at this point wby?
Personally I use a little bit of both, but it's mostly just preference. Some CS:GO player I watched mentioned that you'll be more consistent aiming with your arm but you make more flashy and flicky plays aiming with your wrist. If you ask me, combining arm and wrist aiming to what feels the most comfortable for you is the best option.
So that's why you never do Nevertheless, DPI alone doesn't matter that much, it's your eDPI (DPI x sensitivity) that has a big impact. Higher DPI with low sensitivity in fact skips less pixels than playing with lower DPI and higher sensitivity. What's your eDPI btw? Mine is ~990. (800@1.238)
My highest setting is 800 for league I play Gmod at 300-400 depending if awp or AK. Can’t give you exact numbers tho cuz my PC is 1k miles away
Wrist. Mouse sensitivity 1600 CPI. Desk space for mouse 16 cm. Wrist seems more comfortable for me anyway. Some famous cs go players like n0thing uses also wrist.
I honestly don't know. I think I use my wrist more but I've never payed attention long enough to know for sure.
both, depends entirely on what game and what im doing, usually flicks with the wrist, area aims with the arm
wrist first then arm, i find it strange to see people just moving the mouse, pick it up and move it to the other side of the mouse pad and repeat. or if i have to make a huge turn, i just move the mouse faster in the same amount of distance
uhhh lmao 3500 dpi 6.5 sens in gmod I use my wrist for everything. Using anything else or going slower feels un-natural Like, I use 3500dpi for everything. It bugs me to go slower. The only time I go slower is if i'm scoped in and they are moving like a spaz. I just click a dpi button and switch it to like.. 2000.
I made a thread similar to this a long time ago, https://www.seriousgmod.com/threads/improve-your-fps-skills-mouse-sensitivity.22611/ Basically came down to Whole arm = Low sensitivity w/ large mousepad Wrist = High sensititvy w/ small mousepad
