I'm kinda stuck on silver purgatory, and I need some advice on how to get better in Counter Strike Post some tips in the comments
I have a method that has really helped out. Step 1. Play 2 maps of casual BEFORE you play competitive to just get yourself warmed up Step 2. Play competitive Step 3. Download the demo, see what you did good/bad and also see where your grenades went.
Aim head level always Have good comms Have good map awareness Learn recoil patterns Have good hearing so you know where they are Just some basics Yet i'm still Silver 3.......
GN3 here Play with players better with you. You get to see how fast and how good they are. See how they peek,pre-shoot,strafe,spray. This extremely helped me where I always played on this *GIRLS* server (No girls here) . Everyone was like Nova - Eagle. I sucked before, spraying while running but playing with them made me better.
Learn maps Learn nade spots Make sure your team has a strat for every round. Improve your aim and confidence with all weapons. I was MGE after playing for a couple months last summer. Gave up playing fps games on the PC for 6 months or so. Came back and could not kill anyone at the level I was at anymore. Lost all confidence with my rifles and it took a while to get it back.
Want to get better at CS:GO, or any game you play? Play against people who are better than you. You'll learn fast.
Tips and tricks Learn to pre-aim while walking, scan your corners. All the time. Make sure to know at what height to aim to get an headshot. Make sure to filter on mapnames that start with am_ Also with enough experience, you can easily get out of silver. The only people stuck in it, are bad themselves
