    Hey,
There's a lot of people here who are not so fortunate when it comes to their PC. I'd like to suggest we crowdfund a giveaway to build one of these people a gaming PC.

The hard part is the $700 price tag. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hdRhMZ

I'd be down to put $50 towards it.

Let me know your thoughts. I want to see how many people would be down to do this.

Should stick a HDD into that build, the average gamer won't last very long on a 250gb SSD.

Allow me to raise a pertinent question for my fellow non-Americans. To the best of my knowledge, you and likely many other possible contributors or entries into such a giveaway are living in the US or at least in North America.
How would you handle non-American entries, contributions, etc.? One obvious issue would be international shipping, toll, and other related fees.

Questions aside, cool idea, I'd chip in a bit if possible

    Good point.
At least for where I live, importing a PC from another country would make no sense at all, especially when shipped from the US.
I did the calculations for this when I bought my PC. The negatives outweigh the positives by far.
I'm talking 300-400€ taxes, shipping, fees, etc ...

So I guess we'd have to restrict it to US entries?

Or maybe you can also just wait until you have the money, then do the giveaway, and buy the parts on a Us page or Eu page or any other place. Maybe?

I mean, paying the 300-400€ in fees is a better deal than paying for a new PC outright. May not be getting it for free but it would still be about half price, if you can afford it

Giving money for a giveaway like this never made much sense to me

For starters, I work for my money, like anyone should if they want money. I'm not gonna enable someone random to play games all day and not get a job

And if they do have a job, they should be able to save $900-1000 to buy a PC themselves *coughscottycough*, like I did

Plus, there is a high probability that the person who wins the PC is someone I dislike

Last thing is that it's not fair. As per the 4th rule for giveaways on the forums, you cannot exclude anyone unless they are an unruly member of the community. Therefore, you can't exclude those who don't donate. As well, giving users more entries based on how much they donate is against the premise of a giveaway

That's just my thought process anyway, feel free to proceed (y)

My first thoughts, you dont need a third party liquid cooler on the ryzen cpu. It already has a good enough cooler, and that money can go towards something else.

I rearranged some of the parts around. I took out the water cooler and upgraded the gpu to a 1050ti. I also took off the 650w psu bc its not going to need that, and instead went with a 450 watt evga full modular psu.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JpRhMZ Here is the updated list. It still has all the main parts just upgraded where i could.
