Alrighty folks, I think it is time we begin a community play date. A single day a week that we will schedule for a field trip into cool and interesting multiplayer games. Before we do this however, we need to first find an agreeable day, and a method for voting on and deciding new games to try each week. If anyone has any ideas feel free to post them and discuss here.
We could play GTA V. Someone could lead an xbox division and someone else could lead ps3 so it's all fair
For me to participate in these events the game the game/s are going to be free unfortunately I cannot spend money on games because my parents disagree, I didn't even buy gmod I got it off the trading system in Tf2, and I was granted $20 from my grandfather to donate to the server, but I'm guessing Saturday is probably the best day
I wonder if we could set up a donation system for players who don't have the game or enough money to buy the game we choose? They would enter into a random drawing and we could give out five keys to those players. We could make it a vip and vip+ only drawing as well in order to give more benefits to the donators of the server.
+1 for this idea! We could also make sure we all link up teamspeak and chat throughout the game! I don't have a lot of games, but I can certainly buy whatever I want lol. My Game List: Arma 2: CO (Including DayZ Mod) Arma 3 Trials Evolution Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Battlefield 3 Gmod(obviously lol)
We could set up a mumble server for Serious TTT. Easy to do, not expensive and high quality voice chat.
Perhaps we could do something like a harpoon wars power hour? I know people would love to opportunity to get more points seeing as how upgrades like the insta kill knife would take quite a while to get at the current 10 points per 5 minutes or whatever the rate is. I also like SirLemonCakes idea and think it would be fun to see.
We could also take into consideration any sales that are going on in the steam store for good multiplayer games and buy a few copies with the donated funds preemptively. That way we get the best bang for the buck and help us decide on which game to play.
