Why you should be unbanned:

I do not know why I was banned, I was playing the game as normal, left to take my dog for a walk and I left the game running, came back and saw I timed out. Figured eh must of lagged out and went on to watch some tv, decided to come back to play some TTT and saw I was banned for 5 days. Can someone explain to me why I was banned?​

Hello Gazorpazorp,

Thank you for taking the time to write this Appeal on the forums. As Haruka has mentioned already, I banned you on the West 1 server yesterday evening for your First Offence of RDM and Leave; due to the Statute of Limitations.

During the map Community Bowling, we had a round which ended in two reports filed against you. Both Reports were from Round 3, and were about the same incident. At 1:11 into the round you shot and killed Cicizen47 with an AWP. Both Cicizen47 and lolipop reported you for that same kill; so I've only included one of the reports in this post.

As there are always several possibilities to what happened, I decided to investigate thoroughly through the Damage Logs and Shot Logs to try and work out what happened whilst waiting for your reply. As you can see below, Cicizen47 not only didn't damage you, but they didn't shoot within a ten second period from when you shot and killed them. I also checked the Shot Logs, and there were no shots fired from Cicizen47 during that entire round. Given this, and given the fact that I couldn't see any other possible Traitorous Acts via other messages in the Logs; such as Unided bodies, throwing a lethal grenade, etc., I concluded that this incident was RDM unless you provided me with reason otherwise.

Unfortunately though, before you replied to either of the Reports against you, you left the server. As you said, you left your game running for some time and must have timed out, and this could be the exact reason as to you leaving and not seeing the Reports against you. As I couldn't know at the time that you had timed out, I waited two rounds before issuing you a ban for RDM and Leave, First Offence.

Given that you haven't had a ban now on our servers for the past ten months, I am prepared to overlook the incident and give you the benefit of doubt that you timed out. As such, you will shortly be unbanned on the West 1 server and the ban will be VOID.
