Why you should be unbanned:

I was slayed for RDM, which I did not know I committed, I stayed for the slay and waited til' the round finished, I was talking to Alice for most of the time I spent on there, I had no message say I got called out for RDM let alone then get banned for 5 days.. I've just joined the server and love the community, but I need some leeway when it comes to getting hold of the rules! I didn't know I had a filed complaint, so leaving didn't consider to be an issue, so if this gets dissaproved, I would at least like to know why I got banned.

Hello @Ciibear , here is the website you can use to find your steam ID: http://steamidfinder.com/

Just to be sure: the way you do it is you go to your steam profile, copy the entire url displayed (which in your case is http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198242644874), then you paste that into the bar and click the button to the right of it.

If you have done it it correctly the ID you will get is STEAM_0:0:141189573 which is your profile's steam ID.

Note: depending on wether you are viewing it in Steam or in your browser, the url can have your current name or the collection of numbers. Both would work.

Good morning, @Ciibear. You were actually banned for a seperate offense of RDM. See, shortly before you left, you'd thrown an Incendiary grenade about 15 seconds into the round and heavily damaged a user. Before I could file a report to investigate the damage, you'd already left. Here are the logs from that time;

It seems like it was a simple case of accidental RDM, and seeing as it's your first offense of RDM and Leave I'd be happy to unban you and allow you to serve a slay in place of the ban. Are you available to serve a slay at the moment?

 

Ah okay, I do infact remember doing so, I did apologise instantly as it was by pure accident of me scrolling through my weapons, I didn't think it was an issue as we proceeded to win that round, correct me if I'm wrong but I was a detective?

 

Yes, you were a Detective. However, all players are responsible for the damage they do to teammates, even special roles.

 

Which I completely agree with, but I would like to point out the damage was unintentional, although I did try to say, I understand for being slain, but I would've liked to have known instead of being confused why I was suddenly banned for 5 days, It sucks as well I was justabout to buy a donation

 

You'd already left by the time I noticed the damage, it was necessary to issue a ban. Anyway, if you are available to serve a slay, I can hop on EU.
