Captain Teemo Ban Appeal

Hi guys!

First off, I just bought VIP today and was playing all day. And I need to appeal a 5 day ban I just received.

So we were on the train map, and CMDRSprinkles wanted a mass cult suicide off the back of the train. We were in the back compartment, a few discombobs were thrown, so I decided to throw mine. Low and behold, about 7 people were already preparing to jump off in the mass suicide. It wasn't my goal (though totally my fault) that I ended up getting credited for killing everyone instead of it being considered a suicide.

Hence, most of the guys didn't report me for RDM, cause it was hilarious anyways (thanks!). Then Tsu shot someone, then I shot him. So I ended up getting credited with about 7-8 inno kills for that round, and the server auto banned me for 5 days.

Just asking ya'll not to perma ban me. And I enjoy playing with you guys a lot, so just asking if an appeal is possible for something shorter than 5 days!

Just a complete accident, and I'm sorry! But most of the guys took in good fun (except for sprinkles who reported me :/). Just explaining!

Edit: 6 day ban!!! Oh, I guess I'll ask Sprinkles to back me up on this on! This is how it totally happened!

Edit 2: Oh, Tsu also! "you done fked up"- I know, but it was an honest mistake... A huge, giant, shlong of an honest mistake.

 

I have a simple answer to your problems: Don't do suicide cults!

 

The ban is only a 5 day ban, but it will seem like 6 because it is a full 7200 minutes. The staff member that banned you will reply; although, it would be your fault for deciding to throw your discombobulator as an innocent player; you are responsible for any players that you kill or damage.

I suggest you change your play style.

In my opinion, this appeal should be denied.

 

The ban list also says that you left.

Yes it was my fault .

But honestly, it was all in good fun, and everyone who got killed by me (crap!) can back me up on that (complete accident).

I haven't had a history of being an RDMr, just a history of having fun.

I know the 6 day ban is warranted, but I just want to play with ya'll sooner than that .

I think if you were there, you might see it a little differently .

Edit: @amazing, I didn't leave. My karma was too low so I got autobanned by the server . I would never leave if I was getting slain.

 

Hey Teemo! I was the one that banned you, it wasn't an auto-ban.

Yes, Sprinkles was organizing a "Mass suicide etc. And yes, other ppl were throwing discombobs. But remember, just because someone else does something against the rules doesn't clear you to do the same. As things turned out, you killed 4 people with the discombob. Two of them reported you.

Now, you also shot me for shooting someone else who shot someone else, but I didn't count that against you since I had done something traitorous. However, excluding the 4 ppl you killed with your discombob, you already had been slain once for another RDM, making this 5 offenses technically.

I wanted to be nice, and give you a chance since the discombob was unfortunate, so I issued you 4 slays for the 4 ppl who died to the nade. However, right after I issued the slays you immediately left the server (left, not karma banned). You also have a history of RDM and leave.

Being that I'm in a good mood, I'll unban you IF you return to serve your 4 consecutive slays and IF an admin approves of this.

 

The ban should be reduced to 24 hours, but not an unban.

You must keep in mind that the objective of Trouble in Terrorist Town is clearly stated at the beginning of every round.

If players want to RP, then they can go to an RP server. Deciding to get together to cause a mass suicide can cause server degradation by dropping the server population. I know the reason I stayed on this server was because it always seemed to be an objective oriented server. I believe if I would have came to STTT and saw things like mass suicides and Role Playing, I would have left. Think about any new players that may join the server and see that it's not actually a TTT server, but instead, an RP server.

Yeah, it was totally my fault.

I didn't leave, the server kicked me out (not lying).

Also, I don't think I have a history of RDM and leave unless I'm missing something. I remember I killed a VIP once when he was a trait after he did a trait act, but he reported me and I had to go anyways, so I got a 3 day ban for that. But I believe I have a much stronger history of always staying for slays.

I will be back in about an hour (have to run a quick errand), but I will glady serve my 4 consecutive slays.
