Answered Can you kill somebody for being on the other side of a tripwire if it isnt in his view

I was on the map camel and I placed a tripwire on the bottom of a fight of stairs and went into the top floor to snipe nobody called me out for sniping a player found my tripwre and was attempting to destroy it I walked down the stairs to see what was going on and a player killed me for being on the other side of a tripwire when I was a floor above and a traitor could of easily placed it waiting for me to run into it

 

No, you cannot kill for being on the other side of a tripwire. Unless they see you plant it or ignore it.

I believe this falls under the same thing as C4
If you fail to call it out; you're ultimately aiding the traitors.

The issue is that in this case, he could have been in the building prior to it being planted and, with traitor upgrades, a traitor could have planted it and walked through it or never even went into the building.

This would fall into the category of killing on suspicion.
