Why you should be unbanned:

I honestly don't know why I was banned. I realized I RDMed and the slay was issued. So I stayed, and got slain, it was on the Train map. After the slay I thought that was that, so I left to do some irl work. I was already slain, I stayed for that, there was no RDM and leave. Do I seriously need to stay a whole map or something after being slain for it not to be RDM and leave?​

Edit - And yes, you do have to stay for the whole round as it says in our rules.



If you leave before then, it is not really punishment at that point.

Lets jump right into it

Spoiler: The slay!

As you can see, you were reported by Silent Artemis for RDM (Killing him as he walked out of the room). It appears you killed him on suspicion for opening the door and/or being near or in the room when the door opened, leading me to believe this was a kill on suspicion. Although I have no screenshots of the damageinfo/shotlogs of this particular report, no T baiting occurred as it is something I generally take into consideration when issuing punishments. I am gonna remind you that you cannot kill based on traitor traps as people can activate them from a significant distance, always leaving a certain amount of uncertainty about the kill.

Spoiler: The leave!

Now, the map did change between me issuing the slay and you leaving - due to it being the last round of community bowling. However you would have known this due to the fact you hadn't been slain yet. This is why you were banned for RDM and leave - as you hadn't served your slay.

To reiterate what @Ravin said, you must stay for the round you are slain for, otherwise you would not have really served a punishment. As a reminder the punishments are as follows:

I understand the whole slay part, albeit I wish the "If you're slain you must stay whole round" was a bit bolder and noticeable. Though, I do wish there can be some compromise, I didn't intentionally leave to avoid the slay or consequences of RDM. Could there maybe be instead of a 5 day ban on an accident, I could be just slain for 5 rounds in a row or something?

 

As you are being so calm, understanding and generally cool about this - if you add me on steam we can arrange for you to hop on and serve the slay in place of the ban if you'd like?
