lets say an admin or mod don't like someone for any reason. either justified or just because they thought a player was just annoying now this player applies for staff would bias be taken into account while seeing if they are fit to be staff or would bias be put aside and be more professional? not saying staff are bias this just something that's been on my mind hope for some staff input
If a staff member disliked an applicant for a specific reason they should bring up their issues with them in the application so they may be worked out and resolved. However this would just be what you would hope for. It is totally possible that a staff member could dislike a player for no particular reason, and it could show in the application process. Though that very rarely happens cause most of the staff try to remain unbiased and professional.
Admins will always remain professional and keep bias out of the picture when debating an application. If their concerns are about your actions within the community, then they will speak to you about it either directly through pms or through your application as a way to make you aware of your issues and to allow you to fix those issues. An admin will never deny an application simply because they do not like you.
There's 6 admins with another on the way soon. To get accepted you only need support from one admin with an available mod slot. Admins definitely consult with each other on applicants but it's not unheard of for an applicant one admin hates to be accepted by someone else. And if all the admins have a problem with an applicant then it's probably more than just bias.
