Been debating for a few hours if i should appeal this ban

Why I think I should be unbanned:Lets start by telling the entire story of how i was banned in the first place.

I was playing on clue, and i caught a traitor planting C4. I killed the traitor and took the C4, then as a joke armed it in the main area for 10 minutes. I kept saying over the mic that I was the one that planted it and to not try to disarm it, and if the timer went below a minute id disarm it myself. While the C4 timer was going someone tried to disarm it and killed himself and 4 other innos in the process (if anybody can tell me exactly who I killed that would be awesome).

While I know that this was a mistake on my part and that I still deserve to be banned, I think that since I warned people not to touch the C4 and they did anyways that 5 days is a bit too much. I probably should still be happy that it wasnt a permaban, but I really think that 5 days is too much for an honest mistake. Most of the time when I find out that something is against the rules (such as the times I found out the hard way that activating T traps and not responding to life checks is not KOSable), I learn from my mistakes. Whether I get my ban lifted or not I think an advanced rules page should be added so stuff like this dosent happen anymore.

The way I will explain this is that it's like throwing a nade after warning a bunch of innocents that you were throwing it. Whether you warn or not, if other players are randomly damaged, it is you should be held liable for your actions. It is your responsibility, as an innocent player, to do no unjust harm to another player. I'm guessing that this C4 killed at least 4 players and that is why your ban is 5 days.

The staff member that banned you will respond at their nearest convenience.

I witnessed this event happen. You planted a c4 and killed 5 innos, you will not be unbanned.

I am the staff member that banned you. I was there and yes you did warn everything you said you warned for in your post. Unfortunately, as MangoTango said, it is your responsibility if it does unjust damage to other players. Unfortunately, due to the severity of the actions, unbanning you would look bad both on me as well as the rest of the staff.

With that said, the ban is only specific to East, so you are free to play on our other two server, West and West 2. You are a regular player on our servers and generally do not cause trouble.

Well I will admit that I didnt expect to get my ban lifted, and I mainly made this appeal because I had nothing to lose if you said no. At least now I know that I wont be unbanned, and thats better than not knowing.
