Why you should be unbanned:

I was banned on West 2 for Ghosting by @Rice

I was a dead Traitor and sent an innocent buddy a psay saying, "kill stray". Stray WAS NOT a traitor and it was meant as a joke. The game went on, stray was not killed and nothing else came of it. A few rounds later I was banned.

I am not one to claim ignorance, but I am right now. A few hours ago I brought up the same situation hypothetically during a round and multiple people said it would not be considered ghosting. I cannot remember who exactly it was who said that, and looking back I should not have taken rules advice from people who are not staff. I have talked with Rice and @Event Horizon about this situation and they both said I could make an appeal.

Considering I was under the impression that this was not against the rules, and that the outcome of the game was not affected, I would like you all to think about the ban. I know it is not global and obviously I will continue to play on the other servers until it is lifted. However, I feel like I have been a good asset to this community with good standing and I feel that 4 weeks is pushing it for a lone honest mistake that did not affect gameplay.

@Bear_ So just for reference this was the screenshot of the PM. So I believe this happened on Dolls,
@Mister Hamster PMed me said that Bear had ghosted, I asked for proof and he sent me this link. Hamster also let me know that he was going to kill @Stray Donkey2 (innocent), because he had his harpoon out. You're right in that this did not change the game (as Stray was going to die anyways, for unrelated reasons).

Now, as mods we have to follow the rules strictly and this is a case of ghosting. While I realize you are joking now, the people that you PM do not have that luxury. If @Event Horizon , or any other admin would like to unban they are welcome to.

Bear and I had a private conversation about this ordeal. He knows for future reference never to do such a thing again, and he really did not know what he was doing is in the wrong. I'll go ahead and allow you to unban him. Next time, we won't go so easy, however.
