Banned for being "racist"

Why you should be unbanned: I was banned for one day for supposedly being racist (even though there is no rule against it). I was indeed saying words such as nigga, chink, spic, and cracker but I was not being racist. I was telling the admin that it's the context you use these words that make them offensive, for example, if I were to say "I hate those damn niggers" that is racist, but if I were to have a discussion on the word nigger and the origin of the word, etc, it's not racist.
I then told the admin that by his definition of being racist he thinks Mark Twain is racist for using the word nigger in his works, then I got banned.

Now we may not have a set rule surrounding Racism but it isn't a nice thing to say on the server and if Fever feels you were harassing players she can ban you for it.

Im sure you were warned Multiple times.

However Fever will respond at her earliest convenience.

Like Carned said, there is no specific rule for racist slurs. It does fall under harassment though. Even if it was out of context- your intent was to offend and you were actually looking for an issue which then spread to another player.

If an admin wants to put their opinion on this they're welcome to. I followed protocol and even gave a warning before my 1st gag, then a 2nd gag for a whole round with another warning that your next time would be a ban, then you continue to say said racial slurs so I banned you for 24 hours as it was your 2nd offence.

Your ban will not be lifted. Enjoy our other servers for the time being.
