Baned for two days

Mangotango slayed me for shooting my own team, but i was a detective and the dna pointed right next to him so clearly i would think it was him, after i said this as my version i was insistently banned for two day. i dont believe this was fair considering all the evidence point to the player i killed and the fact that iiwas banned after filling out my version is even more unfair.

I have only banned you for 24 hours, because this was your third offense of RDM.

Here are the logs for your third RDM, which is the one to which you are referring.



As you can see, you did have DNA from the person you killed, but as you see below, the person that you killed had killed a traitor. You collected DNA from the body of a traitor and killed the innocent that killed him. This was your third offense of RDM and you were banned accordingly.



Your ban was completely justified.

 

Ok i understand that much but how was i suppose to know it was a body of a traitor they called me to the body and it pointed to him, and if by RDM your including the map before that one when i hurt a man: i called out it was an accident then i was slain afterwards.

 

You need to check bodies. Also, you could have known by pressing TAB, during the round, and seen that the player that you were called to was a traitor. You also could have pressed E on top of the body to ID it and see that it was a traitor. Many times, innocents will call detectives to the bodies of traitors so they can get the points off of the body.

Even accidental RDM's are still RDM's. You didn't just once the map before, but twice before; hence why it was your third offense.

 

Im still new to this game and didnt know how to check to see if the body was a traitor.
