ban appeal for rdm as a Traitor

I got banned for 5 days for 4+ rdm as a Traitor by Tsu.

I shot him in the very beginning of the round by accident when he was a fellow T. It was my first kill of the map on round 3 and then i was going to say sorry but people kept coming in the room. When i finally got along i tried to type sorry to him but instead he banned me for rdming. I guess he thought i was innocent and didn't bother to check before banning me.

to clarify accident. - the round just started and i had him pinned against a wall. i saw he was t and didnt think another thing and just shot him. a second later i found out he was a t and was going to type sorry but a detective walked in the room followed by 2 other innocents so before i typed to him i killed them.

Why should you be unbanned: It was 1 case of rdm not 4. I deserved a slay for the next round. it was my first kill on the map. Ive explained above.

Yes, I did ban you for rdm 4+.

The time you RDMed me (and the one I banned you for) was pretty blatant. As soon as we spawned (in preround )you ran up to me and trapped me in a corner, and then as soon as the game actually started you immediately shot me in the face.

Your explanation as to why above also doesn't make much sense. Whether you were innocent or T doesn't matter, it would be RDM no matter who was inno/T, since you shot me as soon as the round started, before I could even do anything traitorous (didn't even have a chance to shop T shop).

Also, if you see the T over my head, why would you shoot? That just means you're also a T. You didn't find out a second later I was a T, you found out I was a fellow T and THEN shot.

However, I do apologize for the mistaken ban, it should be for 24 hours for RDM 3+, not 5 days for RDM 4+. You had been previously slain twice (once for RDM 1st, and then double slain for RDM 2nd) by my fellow mod Neon while I was still on. This being your third offense, it should (and will now be changed to) a 24 hour ban for rdm 3+.

Looking at your adminstats, you do have a history of mass rdm/rdm and leave, so please do be careful next time of who you shoot, as punishments get progressively heavier for repeat offenses.

 

Ok so maybe you didnt understand what i meant?

I was just chilling in pre-round and you were on that box and i got up there. Soon as i got up there the round started and i saw i was traitor. before i looked at anything at all i put 2 shots into you. it was right after that i noticed you were T. I was going to say sorry but a barrage of players came through the door.

As for my "3rd offense" it, technically going by your statement, should of been my 2nd offense. The last time i was slayed in my session was for 1 round. I killed an innocent thinking it was a T.

As for the "history" of rdm and leave. If any investigation is done into it you will find that all 3 of my rdm and leave bans were done with under an hour of game play and it was once on each server. I was never to the server and did not fully understand how serious TTT worked. Since my time I've experienced many different situations and fully understand how the game works and since then i have never paused to accept responsibility for any kind of rdm or any kind of incident that happened.

In this game-mode its very easy to get caught up in the moment and make a mistake but on this server I've always been there to accept the consequences as i know what kind of anger can come from people when they don't get their way.

 

Next time you plan to shoot someone when the round starts when you're a T, give yourself a second to assess whether the person you are about to shoot is a fellow T. I've done the same thing once before.

 

No, you were slain once for your first rdm , and then 2 more for your second RDM. I remember because another mod had put one slay on you, and Neon said "slay him again, this is his second offense". So once you RDMed me (your third offense) it was your third offense.

Considering that some of the other bans are still in effect, they didn't occur that long ago.

This is only a 24 hour local ban, feel free to play on one of our other servers that you're not banned on, and by tomorrow you'll be able to come back on East.

 

I have done this as well and slain myself for it.
