Since something similar has happened again, who is the lead admin that decreed a while ago that
"Acting on ghosted info dead or alive is not metagaming"

Rules change, the extended rules were updated with the current leads - Don't recall acting on ghosting info being counted as metagaming ever - it's ghosting

That statement stands correct. It is not "helping the other team" (which is basically what metagaming is) when you as an innocent kill a traitor whose name and/or whereabouts have been ghosted to you (and vice versa).

Because ghosting is "a ghost" ( aka dead person ) giving u info. A living player should be metagaming. But who was the lead that declared it to be ghosting?

Is the point of this to find out the name of the lead who changed a rule, that to my knowledge, never was defined as metagaming? Ghosting, as far as I know, has always been defined as someone using a 3rd party forum of communication to convey round altering information. And if that info is acted on, then the recipient is also ghosting.

I think the confusion comes from the standard use of the word in role playing games, where a player uses info that they received irl, that their character wouldn't know. In SGM, however, metagaming is taking actions to intentionally help the other team win the round.
