5 day ban for leaving with no slay for next round on me?

Yesterday I was playing on this server around 5 pm and the map was assault. I played several rounds and did not kill any innocents, I try not to in general. During one round I had to leave and I was detective, as detective I didn't kill anyone and there was no slay on me for the next round. I was alone with another guy who was clearly a traitor and he started to shoot at me and we got into a small gun fight and I ran around the corner because I needed to leave so I disconnected from the server and that was it. I am positive I did not kill him. If there was a slay on me I would more than gladly have just waited out the next round before disconnecting from the server.
In the rules I don't see anything about leaving a match while being detective and returning damage to another before disconnecting. If I missed something it was unintentional.
