ive been in both of these situations, and i want to know if either of these are against the rules. 1. the traitor does something to make inno 1 look suspicious (something like making it look like they threw down a death station or something), and an inno 2 kills him for it. will inno 2 be slain? 2. inno 1 does something traitorous and gets a KOS called on him, so inno 2 and/or the detective tries to kill him for it, but inno 1 RDMs in self defense. will inno 1 be slain?
Situation 1 is killing on suspicion because you don't know 100% who dropped the death station Situation 2 is the inno just defending himself. If you're getting shot at, you can shoot back.
I can answer the question for 2. If I look at the logs and see the innocent that won the gun fight shot first, then I assume they were shooting at the player and RDM'd them. If they were a proven player T baiting, I usually ask them not to so it doesn't cause a mass RDM chain.
from what iv'e seen on situation 2, if a player gets kos'd and starts killing anyone that starts shooting at him (including detectives) im not gonna slay because he was deffending himself. however if the player KOS'd shot first i would slay, just putting that out there.
The way I see it, if an innocent was shooting at someone and the person called a KOS, when I check the logs I see the first person shooting and then the guy who shot first should be slain, if he wins the fight.
