I try to be funny because we all know we're actually just digging in the salt mines, and on occasion humor diffuses situations. Also why be miserable about something you're using to escape reality to begin with?

On a more personal note, I have a neurological disorder that requires regular medication (UGHHHH) and it has the super best side effects ever. While they make me useless for what I would generally perceive to be my normal life, it actully lines up perfectly for PM shift work. Glass half full or whatever. Since my sleep cycle is now 0800 - 1600 EST I'm just kind of making the best of it, so you'll probably see me on here late night early morning until that gets fixed, if ever. I mention this because it effects, quite literally, everything I do.

If I didn't sound old enough, it only gets worse as time passes, so come sit next to grandma and pet her cats while the cookies are in the oven and she's knitting a sweater in her rocking chair from the old farm she was raised on during the great war back in the good old day when men were men and bears were bears and... It might be time for a nap.
