lol not really, most people dont read chat so it's never RDM unless the person shooting is shooting straight up or straight down.

Legogamerguy calls out a traitor. Adam is the D kills the traitor and shoots in the location on where legogamerguy last saw the traitor. Legogamerguy sees adam is the D firing(Knowing he was shooting the traitor HE Called out) and he kills him for shooting at a player.

Sounds like a troll to me.

That is ridiculous, and not at all in the spirit of TTT.. Your supposed to make the person Id the body, not have spontaneous death matches as soon as someone fires a shot at someone else. Is this just on this server, or did all TTT servers take on this ignorant rule? We just had this same issue in east 2 i think and there was half a dozen people siding with me INCLUDING the mod in the server. Who only stated I was right, but that is the rules, and it should be changed. As of now your rules promote RDM, and hinder the true aspect of the game which is detective work.

 

If you don't like it, leave. A player can CHOOSE wether or not to engage the person shooting if they want to be a dick, but it's not against the rules here. We have gotten used to it, so either get used to it or leave

 

Ill put it this way unless you are being shot at, or see someone shooting multiple people without stooping to id the body you shouldn't shoot anyone. Thats how the game has been played since it started. You dont go blasting anyone that shoots, you make people id the body, and unless they run away, id it as innocent, or try to kill you hold fire, because they might have been an inno killing a Traitor.

First off you can take that attitude and shove it where the sun does not shine, who do you think you are?

The only reason I am here discussing it is that I care, if I diddn't, I would be playing on another server as soon as I found out about this rule.

I paid my money to support this server, I and many people that play here would like to see that rule changed to allow more mental skill in the game, and not RDM blast away type of gameplay.

 

lol okay, thats not really attitude, if anything its being nice. Everyone at STTT understands and works with this rule. I don't think anyone else thinks this rule is stupid, or else there would be atleast 1 more post about this maybe in discussions or suggestions.

Mass downvoting someone's comments just cause you're sad about being killed is not the way to help yourself. Make a suggestion to change this rule in suggestions and see how quicky it gets shot down.

I stated from the beginning I could care less about getting shot and having to sit the round out, its the rule is why I am here.

Why are you so butt hurt about me using a tool to disagree with you, are you that needy, that every comment you make has to be "liked" this isnt facebook or reddit im not here for you feelings son.

We might one day see that rule changed if enough people like the idea fine, if not fine. I just wanted to make sure that the rule is the way everyone is interpreting it because it is bass akwards compared to the other ttt servers.

I agree with Scubasky that players should wait for the situation to solve itself before opening fire. Shooting someone just because our rules allow it is not the way to play the game. However they are our rules and they were made with the idea that they are objective and don't need contextual information. This makes jobs as staff easier and it also lessens the worry on players who are hesitant about shooting other players in fear of being punished for RDM.

I'm going to lock this topic since it's getting a little bit out of hand.
