The other reason is the staff to p!ayer re!ationship.


Too many of the staff exc!ude p!ayers for not being a mod.

Or just p!aying with mod.


I for one disagree with the accusations of promoting myse!f

I can honestly say, love can only dictate what happens
like everyone else said to me one game: "You never get mod for being nice"
laugh as you wish, I wasn't in it for mod, i was in it for good times, and to finally have a good community
Be strong STTT, as those who have heart and courage, win many things
Everyone has their breaking point, mine just snapped today.
Because I got denied for reasons that seems that admins were trying to deny me for a long time for shit, and today I seemingly screwed up.
After 4 hours of me trying to reason with people, of the love I gave out, the nights I have stayed up because people refused too, after me being shitkicked for being nice.
Carned, the mods, the admins, have just scared me away.
Kick me in the teeth, for I have screwed up.

I do agree that the statement you posted in shout box is being taken to seriously. Predated obviously meant it in a joking manner.

But, keep in mind, that was not the first time you've self-advertised yourself... You had done it quite a bit in the past few days. Regardless, you'll be missed.

 

Not being the admin that denied you, I still understand where he is coming from. You were warned many times for self-promotion and today you showed the admin that denied you that you are not fit for a moderator position. Since I did not see any self-promotion for myself I do not have much to say, I didn't even take your comments into mind, but once you applied you must have been aware you were being watched as candidate. It's sad to you go and I do not agree with you leaving. As for reapplying you can try again in a month.

Being mod was, as I asay it, one of the most stupidest things I asked for, but why the reason for that, I got denied.


I got bullied here, Ieave for that, Ieave for job and issues aone, that are personal.

I opened up a DarkRP server, and pan on running that.

I pan on doing stuff because STTT made me so sad, and angry, it made me cry for the past few hours.

 

If you fee! you need to !eave, then so be it. Best of !uck in the future, and perhaps you'!! come back one day to give the community another shot. Also why are you rep!acing "l" with "!"?

I hate seeing these posts. You will always have a home at Serious TTT. Don't let something as little as a denial make you leave. As for the bullying and everything else, if you tell me or the staff members something will be done. I will not let anyone bully anyone here. This is a place for fun and enjoyment.

Let's be honest, people are going to exclude you if you're not a mod. When I made mod, people were nicer than before. ( I still got comments like "Who gave the 3 year old moderator? HAHAHAHA.") But it wasn't 24/7 harassment... Even if I am harassed all the time, mods take care of it. And sure, no one is going to respect you if you're well known or new, besides the mods (with an expectation of some users) This community is great.

Let me share something with you.

I self promoted my app all the time(I can't believe I did.. Why is this? I wanted moderator so bad, everyone else was getting mod before me and I was just jealous.) My app was denied... I took a break for 1 week.. My app was re-opened. and I still had problems. It got denied. The Law helped me with a few things. I got mod. Now, a +1 or a -1 means nothing, it just shows that user will recommend you.

I got promoted for trial mod and my heart was rushing very fast. (I didn't think I would make it with what I had done.)

Anyway, I made mod. I still self promoted my application many times.

I had to make 2 applications. Here's what I know; Most of the time, you will never get it on the first try, no matter how hard you try.

Please don't leave, take a break.

Now, let's talk about staff relations,

Alextnt's body guarding services covered everyone. When I saw him in-game, he said he was only doing staff and they were free. This made me feel like I didn't matter to him.
I do matter either way. If I am not welcomed in the community, I matter. I was made for something and that something is a very good reason.

If we look at Sinz, he's a great staff with good experience, he's friendly and professional.

Event Horizon, he's also friendly and professional.

There's some mods that need to shape up on professionalism and be a bit more friendly.

The reason we're serious is because this is SeriousTTT

If you find staff that aren't being nice and are unprofessional, you should report it on the forums. If you don't feel you should report it there, head over to Staff groups and report it to their admin..

Leaving due to a denial is not a good enough reason to leave. Stay here and prove yourself to be mod-worthy again.

Most of staff is treating it like they are running the head of bed baths and beyond

Doesnt matter how many times a staff member says its cool or its fine or they are being nice to you its because they are required in their job to be professional they literally arent allowed to be mad or hold grudges at people but lets be real here most of staff hates atleast 1 player

Waiting for 10 staff members to disagree with this in 3...2.......

People need a reason to dislike someone. Predated has never given me a reason to dislike him, and has actually given me a reason to like him very much as a person and as a player. I personally don't hold grudges, and I love all of my players the same!

It's not hard being generally positive and loving to everyone you see; you just have to put away the negativity and give people the benefit of the doubt. That doesn't mean allow them to break rules; it means allow them to be a little crazy, partially rude, and just let them be themselves. If you are an accepting person who cares about any player, even if they give you trouble, you are a qualified staff member.

 

Life's too short to let a little thing like being excluded take away from the fun. Find your friends on these servers and play with them, whether it be on SeriousTTT servers or on any other servers. Sure, some mods or admins may be a bit unfriendly, but you can always find those who will be nice and who will stop any bullying they come by. I don't like to see people leave these servers because it means we lose another individual with a great personality. As others have recommended already, just take a break, come back, and try again later. I hope to see you around Predated.
