Time of Occurrence: Around 11:00 AM EDT

Reason For Report: He slain me for no reason. I kos'ed him based on the fact that he lied about behing proven by tester after about 30-40 seconds into the round, me and Pink Panther were in the tester room since the beginning of the round. He then proceded to slay me.

Evidence And/Or Witnesses: Pink Panther is the only witness. Steven says it's not kosable to lie about behing proven, but why is it that when you find out that someone lied about killing a t you can kill them. Stating a false fact is misleading the terrorist and therefore a traitorous act, that's why, it's the same situation here. It's a bit like throwing a prop at high velocity or traitor baiting in the sense that if they shoot at you and miss because you dodged the shot, you can't get away with it. Steven called himself as proven by tester and for is missfortune it happened that 2 persons knew it was false.

PS: oh and Steven kept messaging me in private chat to harrass me about insisting that i report him, and why i still havent done it yet... not very mature for a moderator, i know everyone can make mistakes, but i find it annoying when i get harrassed by a mod, someone who's supposed to act with maturity.

Hey there Gandhi I had slain you for calling A kos on me for lying I spoke to an admin @Slicck and he said that I was allowed to slay you for this. You mentioned to me that @ComPeter said to you that I could be killed for not being honest so I would like his input also. I would also like to point out that at no time did I harass you I merely asked for you to submit a report so I could learn from my mistakes. My admin will look into the matter Encase I deserved to be punished for a false slay thanks for the report.

 

Being killed for "not being honest" is very vague. When people are lying I tend to just mark them as Suspect and follow them until they give me a reason to KOS them. In this situation I would not have killed Steven for lying. I claim I'm proven all the time regardless if I'm a T or not in order to get people to stop suspecting me, which allows me to find the real Ts without worrying about defending myself verbally.

Just exercise caution the next time players are blatantly lying.

Sorry i dont take screenshots about anything. Normally i dont come here to report stuff but this mod pushed me to it. I asked Competer about the rules talked about on the forums and by admins (like throwing props at high velocity is considered traitorous even if it's not on the rule page when you log on the server) when i was playing at the same time as him. Dont try and put my words in a way i didn't put them. Also, it's not about ''not being honest'' it's about lieing about an important aspect of the game that will impact the rest of the round. If we know he's not proven by tester he made the mistake. If you shoot near someone, it's kosable because it's not an act an innocent would do. Lieing about him being proven should be seen in the same way. Bring me arguments on why i should get slain based on him commiting a traitorous act, because we were not 1 but 2 to notice his traitorus act. Also, hiding unidentified body is traitorous because it's trying to hide the fact that someone is dead, therefore complicating the work of the innocent, again lieing about behing proven should be seen in the same way. when you are caught hiding bodies, you are kos'ed. Sorry i'm bringing evidence here. I'm not new to the server either.

 

Not being honest about being proven isn't against the rules and is not considered traitorous. You can just use your head to figure out whether the player is telling the truth or not. If you suspect the player is lying, then mark him as suspicious and then move on. Killing him for not being honest about being proven is considered RDM because you don't know if he's telling the truth and/or you don't have enough evidence to kill him.

The same goes for hiding identified bodies. IF by chance the body was unidentified and a player was trying to hide it, then you can call a KOS and kill for it. If it was identified, then you have no right to call a KOS or kill the player who was hiding the body. That would classify under RDM.

As for Steven's supposed harassment, please provide evidence about it. Otherwise, this report will be locked due to lack of evidence.

 

Use your head? i used my head, someone else used his too. Steven called he was proven by tester when 2 players were in the tester room for the whole 30 seconds since the round had started. Anyways, thx for not responding to what i said directly and just stating general stuff about me not using my head, real mature. Lock this thread, i should have known it would be useless to reason with you guys. I bring evidence, arguments, and all you do is say to me to use my head? Please try to act like adults.
