Why I should be unbanned: Hey there Serious TTT this is Jack-Wilsington I am a fairly active player on your TTT west server and recently received a five day ban due to a bit of misinformation, While trying to switch weapons holding a discombob I misclicked threw it and in doing so knocked somebody to their death I was subsequently granted one round of slaying And accepted it due to my mistake. I took the slay and without knowing I was supposed to ask if I could go or sit out the slay time I left due to having a busy morning schedule and thinking that I couldn't seriously be expected to sit staring at my feet for twenty minutes (rounds were going particularly slow) I did not play for the rest of the day and only found out I had been banned today for my mistake This is a one time mistake and now that I know how things work with RDM and leave bans it wont happen again.

Evidence of my innocence: *RDM was due to a discombob mislick. *I accepted my slay without knowledge of the fact I had to ask to leave even after I was slain. * I have a busy life and had to leave fairly quickly.
*It was a mistake caused purely by misinformation and wont happen again.

Edit. I have been reading through some other ban appeals and have seen a lot of cases just like mine get turned down due to "not following proper protocol and procedures" which begs the question of why it doesn't say anywhere you have to twiddle your thumbs for upwards of twenty minutes and instead leaves it to be found out after the damage is done.

 

I cannot unban you today, but because it isn't in the rules, I ask that someone unbans you. I try to tell everyone not to leave during their slay. I have also addressed the other staff that we need it added to our rules. Bottom line: unban Jack and add it to rules that you must stay during your slay.

 

I always told staff to add it to the rules "You need to stay on the round of your slay" or something. This is too common.

 

I totally agree! It's too common of an occurrence not to be added to the rules.

 

Thanks a lot for taking this into consideration, and yes I have seen nearly every ban appeal is for this reason. I don't mind if I have to wait the whole five days I have got all the time in the world and the server is well worth it, I was bored earlier and tried out some other one and I can really see why this is #1.
